Maps and arenas

Every file in plugins/SurvivalGames/arenas/ is an arena, named after the file. Each arena plays its own game in its own world, reset from a template after every game. A server can run several arenas.

Arena maps don't come with the plugin: see Adding maps.

Editing a map

  1. /sg edit <arena>: the game stops, nobody can join, you're teleported to the map. Spawns and deathmatch points show as numbered markers; you can change blocks too.
  2. Set points where you stand:
CommandDoes
/sg arena addspawnAdd a spawn (one player per spawn)
/sg arena setspawn <n>Move spawn n here
/sg arena removespawnRemove the nearest spawn
/sg arena adddeathmatch, setdeathmatch <n>, removedeathmatchThe same for deathmatch points
/sg arena setlobby, removelobbyWhere players wait before the game
/sg arena setborder <size>A world border centered here; 0 removes it
/sg arena infoThe arena's points and limits
  1. /sg edit save makes the edited world the new template and starts a new game; /sg edit cancel undoes everything.

Shared maps on a network

Point maps-folder of every game server at one shared folder. An edit saved on any server is every server's map from its next game, and while one server edits a map, the others can't.
